RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Meteorology and Environment Protection predicts the weather to be rainy starting Thursday evening and is expected to last until Monday.
Thundershowers from medium to heavy are expected on the heights in Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha, to extend to the heights of Makkah, and its eastern parts, as well as Riyadh and Qasim.
Prior to rains, surface winds are expected to stir dust and sand, limiting horizontal visibility.
Medium thunderstorms are also expected in Hail and the heights in Madinah and Tabuk, as well as the northern areas of the Eastern Region.
